Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any right or remedy you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other New Zealand law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where anything below conflicts with those rights, your statutory rights take priority.
Intellectual Property
The content, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, and other material within Make It Happen, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The content is owned by MIH Education Ltd or its licensors. You may not modify, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based upon the course materials without explicit written permission from MIH Education Ltd.
Prohibited Actions
You agree not to:
Distribute or Replicate: You shall not distribute or replicate any content within Make It Happen without prior written consent from MIH Education Ltd. Modify or Reverse Engineer: You shall not modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or create derivative works based on the course materials.
Disclaimer
The course content is provided on an "as-is" and "as available" basis. We don't guarantee specific results, income, or outcomes from completing our programs, since these depend on factors outside our control, including individual effort and circumstances. This disclaimer doesn't limit the guarantee that our services will be provided with reasonable care and skill, as required under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
Changes to Terms
MIH Education Ltd reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for changes. Your continued use of the course materials after any modifications constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Online Courses & Trainings
Immediate access. Our digital courses are delivered through a secure online platform and provide immediate access upon enrolment.
Change-of-mind refunds. Because digital content is delivered immediately and can't practically be "returned," we don't offer refunds simply because you've changed your mind, chosen the wrong course, or no longer wish to use the service. Please review course previews and outlines carefully before purchasing.
Payment plans. This policy applies whether you've paid in full or are on a payment plan. Because full access is granted upon enrolment, choosing a payment plan doesn't entitle you to cancel future instalments for change-of-mind reasons.
Technical issues. If technical difficulties prevent you from accessing your course, email [email protected] and we'll resolve it promptly.
Course updates. Courses may occasionally be updated or revised to keep them current. Brief, reasonable access limitations during an update aren't, on their own, grounds for a refund.
Mentorship Refund Policy
Enrolling in our mentorship and coaching programs is a commitment, and a confirmed spot may mean we turn away other applicants. Because of this, once a mentorship spot is secured, we don't offer change-of-mind refunds.
Instead, you may:
- transfer your spot to another person, or
- apply the value as a credit toward a future mentorship intake, subject to availability and approval.
Early termination.
If you withdraw from a payment-plan mentorship before completing your agreed term, an early termination fee of $1,000 NZD applies, reflecting our genuine administrative costs and the program place reserved for you. This is payable on notice of termination. Beyond this fee, the remaining program value isn't refundable for change-of-mind cancellations.
Event Refund Policy
All event ticket sales are final and non-refundable, as we incur significant upfront costs related to venues, staffing, and logistics.
However, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else if you’re unable to attend. In certain cases, we may be able to assist with name transfers or explore alternative solutions contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible.
